I just wasted an entire Talk Like A Pirate Day! Why did no one inform me about this until I got on lj? I wasted a whole day I could have spent talking like a pirate by talking like a person! I am outraged! I want a refund! Its like missing Christmas and everyone saying "Well, I figured you knew it was Chirstmas" and you being like "WTF, someone should warn me about these things. D:<" And then they say "Oh, well too bad you missed Christmas because now I'm not going to give you your presents. MOO HAHAHAHA!" And then you're just D': It is tragic. But apparently I'm a crazy pirate.
My birthday was yesterday! Rickey took me all over Portland to just wander around, which was really fun. He bought me a little devil rubber duck (with horns!) at this really interesting little shop. And he got me a Super Nintendo so I can play my Donkey Kong games again! I used to play those all the time when I was like, four but when we moved we left the Super Nintendo at the old house but had the games so I haven't been able to play them. But now I can so yay! And I got fuzzy green and orange socks, which are awesome.
Mum got me Sleepy Hollow and some pencils and pens because I needed more. And a cake, which was ok. I named my rubber duck Will. He's the most awesome duck ever, seriously.
School starts on Tuesday and now that I have to go back, I don't really want to. I'll have to get up at like, four thirty just to be able to get in the bathroom before mum and my sister get . :( And I'll actually have to be social again with someone other then Rickey and family. People scare me. :o
OMG, I just got my School of Visual Arts catalog. OMFG SO PRETTY! Its hardback and everything! I don't think I'll ever stop carrying this thing about. I want to be able to go to college now. :(
Why does my mail always take so long to load? I mean really, first I have to get to comcast.net and that takes forever to load. Then login, more forever. Then I have to open the message center (insert another 10-15 mins of waiting) and thats not even to read my mail! And it can't be my internet connection because everything else loads just fine, usually.
I want to just turn on my computer and have it say something like "Why hello there meg. Are you aware that you have new emails?" And I'd be like, "Why no, I wasn't." And for my computer to say, "Well, here, have some tasty new emails." and then for my mail to just be BOOM! Right there. No over an hours worth of waiting. Is there any way to do that? Or something just as simple? It doesn't have to involve my computer talking to me.
And, omfg Shoebox update. It made me happy. And I must agree with Sirius, Remus' first letter made almost no sense except for aravarks and footly bits. The rest was quite lovely though and Rickey thinks I'm insane because I texted him about it and abused the caps lock.
Nothing else much has been interesting except my new invention that I'm currently calling a Jell-o Smoothie. It is delicous. I've got Rickey's mum and little brother hooked on them. Even my mother wants to try one and when I first told her about them she said it sounded disgusting. The only problem is that there's still little microscopic bits of jell-o floating about in them and sometimes they catch you offgaurd. Other then that, they are very delectable.
I'm thinking about making a sort of business of them but I'm not sure how to go about it. I was thinking maybe the classic lemonaid stand that little kids make but I don't know where I would put one. I thought maybe around the Shell station Joni (Rickey's mum) works at but theres no where to put one. And I would need somewhere to hook up a blender and somewhere to keep the jell-o and assorted ingredients cold. There's a empty lot next to the Shell but I don't know who owns it so thats a no. More thinking is needed on this matter.

Erm, life's been so...odd lately. Not like anything new has happened but I'm not bored, which is nice. I've been hanging out at Rickey's house with his family or at the Shell station his mum works at. I get free coffee. Yay!
Harry and the Potters....last week(?) was really awesome. There were a lot of people and everyone was dancing and getting soaked in sweat. It was so gross but so fun at the same time. Joe and Paul kept running out into the audience and kept bumping into me. And then me and Rickey got lost trying to find the Max station from the bookstore so we were walking around in the dark for forever and I was freaking out because of the odd homeless people bugging us for money. Ugh, I like Portland better in the daytime. We finally found it though so that was good but then the bus I didn't to get home didn't come for another hour almost so I was late getting home. And then I got really tired and was really just...hyper. It was sort of like I was drunk. And then I couldn't get to sleep when I finally got in bed. Figures, lol.
And wtf, why are Lost reruns not on anymore? ABC is making me really mad. Grrrr. They could have at least stopped rerunning it after they got to the part where I started watching. Jerkfaces. D:<
I'm writing a little short story thingy. Its about this dude that falls in love with a radio DJ. Like the ones that tell you what song was just playing and give away tickets and stuff. Yeah. This is what happens when I listen to the radio and wonder if anyone's fallen in love with a DJ without ever meeting them. I like it a lot so far and if I ever finish it to the point where I'm satisfied with it, I might put it up here.
And yay, I got the Shoebox moodtheme finally! I've been wanting it since I first got my lj but I only had a free account so I couldn't. And I get lots more icons too. Pretty nifty. :D
Wow this post got long. I didn't know I had so much to say. And omg, I really want to go to the library. I need a book to read. I'll have to kidnap Rickey sometime next week and make him go with me. Yay, books!
Lol, I have so much on my mind and I really need to stop typing so this doesn't become one big mess of random. See, now I want to start talking about how I have art block right now and thats frusterating me. Because I get bored and want to draw and then its crap. Omg, I'm done now. Really!
Yay, me and Rickey are going to see Harry and the Potters with Draco and the Malfoys at a bookstore tomorrow night! Wizard rock in Portland! Woot!
Other then being excited about the wizard rock going down tomorrow night, nothing else has been happening. A whole lot of boring. And some stupid American Idol show is on ABC right now when Lost should be. Arg! And our neighbors really cute kittens have been invading our backyard. We thought they were strays at first so we fed them but then we found out where their home is. Mums mad now bc they keep digging under the fence and my doggy wants to go eat them. Poor little kitties. ;_; They're so cute!
My water bottle is also missing. Rickey probably hid it to annoy me but I can't find it. Its probably somewhere really obvious and I'm just not seeing it because I'm blind.
Speeking of blind, everytime I open my eyes under water when I go swimming everything seems farther away then it actually it. You could be right in my face and I would think you were ten feet away. So I was swimming the other day underwater and I think "Hmmm, I wonder where the wall is?" and then I smash my nose right into it. This is riduculus. I need perscription glasses to go swimming.
Today I sat around in Rickey's family's new apartment playing with Rickey's little brother Kyle and feeling very awkard for a few hours. His family is so fun! I wish my family was that fun and nice. They were supposed to be moving in today but they don't have a car so their friend was supposed to come with a truck at 8am and never showed up so Jason's dad came over at about 5-ish with his truck and they finally started moving in. Yay!
Joe came over too which was pretty cool since I've never actually met Joe. If he grew out his bangs a bit, he would look like a perfect emo kid. He has that whole tall & skinny & agnsty look about him. I like him. He kept talking to Rickey about video games that I haven't played though so I got really confused. But it was fun. The whole day was fun. I'm over tomorrow morning to help them unpack.
The bad part was when mum came to pick me up and was all pissed off. And then proceded to bitch about everything she could think about. I hate my family. They're all so bitchy and mean and are always complaining and never look at the bright side of things. Its hard to believe I'm not adopted since I'm usually nothing like them. I try to look at the happier side of everything and don't usually complain all that much unless its about my family and I'm not mean to anyone unless I have a reason to be. I can't wait until I'm eighteen and can finally move out.

The thing with holidays in my family is that every holiday, my mum always yells at us to wear that holidays colors or a shirt for that holiday. I think this is pretty stupid. So I always point out little bits of whatever color she wants me to wear and then she gets mad at me. Which is fine. I don't really care. It just urks me.
But anyway, happy fourth of July to everyone, even if its not the day your country got its indepence. Just have a happy day. Because happy days are good.
For some reason some people across the street decided last night was fourth of July and set off a ton of fireworks. My poor doggy got so scared. He hates fireworks. Whenever he gets scared he always climbs all over me. And last night I was trying to sleep while the fireworks were going off. He climbed all over my back and my pillow and tried to sleep on my head. Then he decided to put his butt in my face and go to sleep. My poor puppy. I love him so much but there are other places for his butt to sleep.
I just found out that I can draw on my laptop with chalk and it comes off really easily. How nifty! Under my keyboard theres now a fishie, a snakey, and a star. Fun!
Wow, I haven't posted in so long. Since its summer again and I'm not busy anymore, I'm going to try to post more again. So I decided to redo my layout and everything and deleted all my old entries.
Lifes been good since....Febuary. Mum has been horrible like she usually is but thats ok because I'm used to it now. I can draw a lot better. I'm still happily dating Rickey. Speaking of Rickey, he's gone this week camping and that makes me really sad. :( He'll be back on the sixth though so then I'll be happy. I'm having a Lord of the Rings marathon while he's gone to keep me from being too sad.
Nothing much else has happened so I'll post as things happen, I guess.
